Submitting new tutorial

Graphics World is a graphics only community and we feature strictly graphics related content. If a tutorial or link satisfies this condition, you are more than welcome to submit it to our database. We accept tutorials for all graphics related applications. Ex: Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw, 3D Studio Max, Maya, Flash, the list goes on!

Approval and moderation

Every new tutorial undergoes a peer review process before it is made publicly available on our website. When a tutorial is added it appears in the "Moderate" section which is accessible by every register user on our web-site. Each user gets one vote - they can either approve or reject the tutorial. If a tutorial reaches a +10 rating, it is automatically added to our database, otherwise if a tutorial fails to reach the required +10 rating after 14 days the tutorial is removed from our website.

Reporting

Every registered user has the ability to report a bad tutorial listing - broken link, spam or advertising links. Once a tutorial has been reported 10 times, it is removed from the public listing, at which time the author can update the tutorial and resubmit it for approval.

Creating and managing lists

Lists can be used to organize and share your favorite tutorials. Every list can be made public or private, depending on the preference of the author. When a list is listed as public, it is also made available to all other users of our website. By default, all new lists are private.

Sharing lists

By default, all new lists are private. To change the list type to public, login and navigate to it, at the top of the list in author's toolbox select 'edit' and change your list type to public.

Syndicating lists

All public lists are also available through RSS. To get the list feed, load the list and in the 'RSS Menu' on the right hand side click on 'current list' link.

Sharing your information

Every user has a profile which is accessible by every other user. On this page other users can view your contribution (tutorials, lists) and your information. If you wish to keep your information private, you can opt-out from updating your profile to include additional information and keep your lists private.
